Katherine has been photographing weddings for 18 years, and Jason 15 years!
We deliver classic, vibrant images that exude the emotion, personalities, and love. We love the moments that naturally happen throughout the day, and our vision is to capture each one with a thoughtful and creative eye.
Between 20-25. This allows us to give the energy and attention we feel each client deserves.
Yes! Each package includes your edited high resolution digital images to download :) You receive a print release that allows you to use the images as you wish - you can make prints at the lab of your choice, create thank you cards, save the dates, upload the images to facebook or instagram, they are yours to do what you like! You can also order prints directly from your gallery, and so can your family and friends.
The photos are delivered through your personal online gallery. This gallery is up for one year and serves multiple purposes: you can download the images directly from the gallery; family and friends can order prints and canvases directly from the gallery; you can share images directly from the gallery; it is also online cloud storage for the year it is active. There are so many options!
6-8 Weeks after the wedding. You will have plenty of teasers to tide you over while waiting for the full gallery :)
We deliver 75-100 images per hour of coverage that we are there. Our average wedding usually has well over 1,000 images delivered.
YES!! My bachelor’s is in graphic design so editing is my love!! Each image is carefully corrected for color, cropping, exposure, and some extra photo-magic that only we provide :) You also receive each image in color and black and white, carefully organized within the gallery in folders that separate the day (getting ready, ceremony, portraits, reception, etc.)
We will formalize a family photo list with you prior to the wedding. We also send out a questionnaire a few months before the wedding day where we ask for photo requests of things we wouldn’t know - such as a special gift from your mom, pictures of your grandparents in your bouquet, a surprise dance or guest at your reception, etc.
A first look can be great for a few different situations. If the ceremony and reception are in the same location a first look can be helpful since there is usually no time for portraits between the ceremony and cocktail hour. Another situation would be the late autumn or winter months where the sun sets around 4:30 or 5 and we want to make use of the daylight. A first look is a sweet moment between the bride and groom where they get to see each other before the ceremony, and allows time for all portraits to be completed before the ceremony. If you have an early ceremony and a later reception then a first look wouldn’t be necessary as we can utilize the time in between to do portraits :) You can view a few sample timelines HERE to get an idea of how the day could run.
Absolutely! 4 of our packages include engagement photos because I think it’s so important (and fun!) for us to work together before the wedding. I get to figure out how you two and your personalities click, and you get to see how I work and get comfortable in front of the camera :) All engagement locations, questions, scheduling, etc. can be found on our engagement website here! We only offer engagement sessions for couples that are using us for their wedding date.
Yes, and we can provide your venue with a certificate when needed
Canon!! We love Canon, and always have enough gear and backup gear for any situation :)
A $2,500 retainer and signed online contract reserves the date. We do not hold dates for any reason. Once the retainer and contract are received, we’d start planning your engagement session!
